He was the 5th of 7 children born to Delmon Wortham and Letha Bell Key on October 13, 1938 in Throckmorton, Texas. Following graduation from Throckmorton High School, Glenn worked in the oil field and farmed. He served on the Albany school board for 20 years, was apart of the Shackelford County Masonic Lodge, and participated in the Fandangle. Twice, Glenn and brother Bobby were presented the fan award at the Albany sports banquet. He seldom missed a game of any kind and was actually looking forward to attending basketball games this week to watch his grandson, Joshua Dyer, play.
